Hymns and Variations A Festive Organ Concert

Dr. Lynn Trapp, Concert Organist Performs on the Schantz Pipe Organ in a special online concert accessed via The IHM YouTube or the IHM Facebook. As a congregation, during the Pandemic, we are not able to sing together as we worship, here is an opportunity to revel in well-known sacred hymntunes, as Dr. Lynn Trapp, concert organist brings them to life with a dash of history, fanfare and festive variations.  For information about the artist see The concert is free and available to anyone online. Pianist Michael Angelucci

Hailed as a “great artistic talent” by the A&B Foundation, American pianist
Michael Angelucci is the first prize winner of the Bradshaw and Buono
International Competition and the American Prize National Competition, and
holds advanced degrees from the Peabody Conservatory and the University of
Maryland. Dr. Angelucci will present a varied program along with historical
commentary on each piece. We invite you to join us live in church subject to
current protocols (attendees must wear face masks and observe social distancing).

Lisa Weiss, Piano and Bagus Wiswakarma, Violin

Violinist Bagus Wiswakarma and pianist Lisa Weiss, faculty members at the Opus Community Music School, will perform Franz Schubert’s sunny Sonatina in D, Bela Bartok's fiery Romanian Folk Dances, and Cesar Franck's monumental Sonata in A. Dr. Weiss, Professor Emeritus of Music at Goucher College, will offer brief remarks on each work.
